Meals At School

At NFEI we provide students with a healthy breakfast and lunch everyday. Qualified students can receive free or reduced cost meals

Kindergarteners Eligibility

First time kindergarteners are not eligible. Repeating kindergarteners and all students up to 12th grade are eligible to participate in the scholarship program, providing all other scholarship requirements have been met.

Dress Code

The following daily Dress Code is required for all students
  • White, sand, or green, (polo style only) with shirt tails tucked in. The only logo permitted on the shirts is the school logo. School logo shirts may be purchased in the office
  • Black, or khaki slacks, shorts, skirts, or skorts, worn at the waist. Slacks should fit neatly. Baggy pants, overalls, blue jeans, and sweat pants are inappropriate. Skirts, shorts, and skorts must be of an appropriately modest length (no more than 3” above the top of the kneecap)
  • Belts must be worn with slacks, shorts, skirts and skorts that have belt loops
  • Closed toe and closed heel shoes. Shoelaces must be navy blue, black, white, or brown. Platform shoes may not be worn. Tennis shoes are required for P.E.
  • No excessive jewelry. No earrings are permitted on boys
  • Neatly groomed hair. Dyed hair must be a traditional, natural color. Facial hair on boys must also be neatly groomed.
  • White, green, or sand pullover and cardigan sweaters (no hoods, no sweatshirts) to be worn inside the building. Jackets or other types of outerwear may be worn outside, but must be removed inside the building. No lettering or large logos are permitted on any type of outerwear

McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities Program

The McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities Program expands statewide the school choice program originally created by the 1999 Florida Legislature as a pilot program. The scholarships are available for eligible students with disabilities to attend an eligible public or private school of their choice

Students with disabilities include K-12 students who are mentally handicapped, speech and language impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, visually impaired, dual sensory impaired, physically impaired, emotionally handicapped, specific learning disabled, hospitalized or homebound, or autistic
